Around 16 November 2025 (weekend of), in a rural area of Girardota municipality (Antioquia), police forces briefly exchanged fire with members of the Los Chatas gang during an anti-drug operation at an estate. The police raid was launched upon the arrival of a truck traveling from Corinto (Cauca) and loaded with approximately six tons of marihuana. Police arrested six people and seized the drugs, five handguns, and 3.7 million COP. There were no casualties.
