Two resistance fighters were killed in an airstrike carried out by the military in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region, according to a local humanitarian officer.

The attack targeted the area near Sin Kyone Monastic School and occurred twice in one day. Around 1 a.m., a jet fighter from the military’s Tada-U air base and two paramotors from the Northwestern Command in Monywa conducted the first bombing.

The local official said, “Two were killed and three others injured — all were resistance fighters.”

At about 12:30 p.m., two gyrocopters carried out another bombing on the same location, though no further casualties were reported.
