A soldier was captured alive during clashes with the military column advancing between Mying and Pakokku townships in Magway Region, according to an official from the Earthquake People’s Defence Force speaking to Red Peacock News.

The fighting occurred on December 2 when resistance forces encountered a military column from Infantry Battalion 99 operating in the area. The Earthquake People’s Defence Force reported that one wounded soldier was captured, and various ammunition and supplies were seized.
