SAA event in Ferizaj District, Kaçanik / Kacanik area, Kosovo on Sat 29th November 2025

A man reported that his dog had been shot with a firearm by a 27-year-old man. As a result of the gunshot, the animal died. Police responded to the scene, where they seized three (3) cartridge cases from the pistol used in the incident. The suspect voluntarily surrendered at the police station, where he handed over the firearm (pistol) and nine (9) rounds of ammunition. By decision of the prosecutor, three criminal offences have been initiated against the suspect: illegal possession of a weapon, use of a firearm, and animal abuse. After the interview, the suspect was released under regular investigative procedure.
