On December 4,Security Forces (SFs) arrested an active cadre of NSCN (K–Niki Sumi), identified as SS Captain Jenlong Supong, in Hukanjuri, Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh, reports NE Now. Authorities recovered one pistol, one magazine, six live rounds, one mobile phone, and one PAN card from the apprehended cadre. He was subsequently handed over to Khonsa Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings. The Niki Sumi faction of NSCN has been active in the Tirap, Longding, and Changlang (TLC) region.
