On December 3, Police neutralised a target-killing module linked to the Doni Ball–Amar Khabbe Rajpootan gang with the arrest of sharpshooter Baljinder Singh alias Bunty in Rakhe Shah turn in Amritsar District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. Bunty, a resident of Udonangal in Ropar District of Punjab, was intercepted near Rakhe Shah turn and found with a .30-bore pistol, three live cartridges and a motorcycle. Interrogation revealed his role in multiple targeted killings, illegal weapon supply and heroin trafficking. Police said he has been named in seven cases under the Arms and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Acts and was wanted in a three-kilogram heroin recovery case.
