On December 2, a grenade was left on top of a paper carrying the handwritten warning “KCP-(PWG), the last warning, Nupajao and family,” and the explosive was found at the gate of Kangabam Nupajao, the son of K. Achou of Athokpam Makha Leikai under Thoubal police station in Thoubal District of Manipur, reports Northeast Now. Following the alert, Manipur Police Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad disposed of the explosive at a secluded spot and have registered a case and launched an investigation of Kangleipak Communist Party-People’s War Group (KCP-PWG).
