A military convoy departing from Myin Tae Gyi village in Natmauk Township, Magway Region, was ambushed by resistance forces, according to a statement released by Column 902.

The attack took place around 7 a.m., targeting a military column of about 100 soldiers.

Casualty details from the military side have not yet been confirmed, according to Column 902’s statement.

The operation was jointly carried out by Naypyitaw Regional Military Command’s Strategic Unit 17, Battalion 902, a Special Operations Column, and Battalion 1 from Tharyar District.
