In Chin State, members of the Chin National Front attacked a group of soldiers from Infantry Battalion 269 stationed at the entrance of Tedim town on the morning of November 27, according to a statement from PDF Zoland.

A spokesperson from PDF Zoland said, “The military unit has been stationed there for about a month, but we haven’t observed major movements.”

The press release stated that several military personnel were captured and weapons along with ammunition were seized during the attack.

The Chin National Front launched the operation because the army’s presence near Tedim’s entrance was aimed at tightening control over movement in and out of the town.

The attack was carried out by the Chin National Front forces.
