The military bombed gold mining sites in Min Kin Township, Sagaing Region, on November 27. A local told Red Peacock News that four jet fighters dropped bombs on gold mining areas in Laung Pyae and Thin Taw villages. Residents have fled the villages, and workers who came for gold panning have also left; one raft was burned. According to locals, about 20 bombs were dropped by the fighter jets over Laung Pyae Kyun and Thin Taw, though casualties are still unknown.
