Agents of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC) seized high-power firearms, stocked magazines, useful cartridges and more than 46 kilograms of marijuana, as well as tactical equipment from a man aboard a Jeep Wrangler Sahara van of the year.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) reported that the detainee is “member of a criminal group that generates violence.”
The arrest was recorded at 2:53 in the afternoon of Wednesday, November 26, on a dirt road in the Ejido Benito Juárez.
The subject identified as Abraham, 54 years old and originally from Mexicali, was moving packages from a white Jeep Wrangler Sahara model 2025 vehicle with border circulation plates, to a gray Ford F-150 pickup model 2018 and with plates from the State of Mexico, which has a current theft report.
When carrying out the inspection of both vehicles, the state police located the following:
• 01 rifle type weapon caliber 7.62 × 39 mm, with cooler and with a magazine supplied with 20 useful cartridges of the same caliber.
• 01 rifle-type weapon with metal sight, cooler and a magazine supplied with 50 useful cartridges of 7.62 × 39 mm caliber.
