The Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) carried out two simultaneous search acts in homes linked to Pedro T, alias “Pichón”, member of a faction with presence in the municipalities of Guasave and Ahome, Sinaloa.
During the security tours, naval personnel were attacked with firearms. Faced with the risk, the elements repelled the aggression and managed to control the situation.
The confrontation resulted in the arrest of Adelemro Pérez Hernández, “Lemu”, identified as a logistics operator, and Miguel Ángel Villalba Castillo, named as a hitman. As well as the death of Pedro T., “Pichón”, leader of the cell, who had an extradition order requested by the Federal Court of the Southern District of California for crimes related to the import and distribution of fentanyl and cocaine.
In the properties searched, the federal forces assured:
• Two firearms
• Four vehicles
• Two cell phones
