Fighting broke out again this morning (December 1) after military commission troops entered Mogok town in Mandalay Region due to Chinese intervention, according to local residents and local resistance forces.

A Mogok resident said that gunfire was still being heard as of 12:30 p.m. today, confirming that fighting was taking place in the eastern part of the revolutionary stronghold in Mogok Township.

The military commission entered Mogok town in the evening of November 29th, with thousands of troops. Yesterday evening, the People's Defense Army PDF and the revolutionary forces advanced to the western side of Mogok town, and fighting broke out between 5:30 and 6 pm, according to a revolutionary comrade on the ground.
