The State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) managed the arrest of Roberto “N”, identified as the alleged leader of a criminal cell that operated in the central region of the state and considered a priority target for state authorities , in addition to the capture of 10 alleged gunmen who accompanied the same subject. The operation took place in the area known as El Pueblito, in the municipality of Aldama, as the result of a six-month intelligence investigation .

The actions were coordinated under the instructions of Governor Maru Campos and led by the Secretary of Public Security, Gilberto Loya Chávez. The operation involved members of the SWAT Special Group, the Undersecretariat of Police Deployment, the Undersecretariat of Intelligence, as well as agents from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the National Guard, in a joint deployment that allowed them to surround the criminal structure. During the deployment, state and federal agents were met with gunfire, which they returned following established force protocols. After bringing the situation under control, the perimeter was secured and 11 additional individuals, allegedly linked to the same criminal group, were arrested. The detainees were identified as: Carlos Enrique “N”, 24 years old Hector Manuel “N”, 28 years old Jesús Rodrigo “N”, 23 years old Eliú Sebastián “N”, 21 years old Luis Manuel “N”, 25 years old Crisóforo “N”, 29 years old Rafael Oswaldo “N”, 28 years old César Crispín “N”, 25 years old Juan Saúl “N”, 18 years old A 17-year-old teenager According to official sources, those arrested were part of the operational circle of the alleged criminal leader and were reportedly involved in activities related to arms trafficking, armed surveillance, and territorial control.

The operation resulted in one of the largest seizures in the area in recent months. Among the items confiscated were: 12 long guns 2 Minimi machine guns 1 M60 machine gun 2 Barrett .50 caliber rifles 106 long gun magazines 5 .50 caliber magazines 1 hand grenade 4 improvised explosive devices 1 Minimi machine gun container 13 tactical vests 4 tactical belts 3 vehicles, two with a theft report, Various weapons, ammunition and additional tactical equipment, currently being classified by the Attorney General's Office (FGR)

Authorities indicated that the seized arsenal represents a high-powered firepower, presumably used by the criminal cell for territorial disputes and illicit operations in the region. Both the detainees and the seized weapons were transferred under custody to the facilities of the Attorney General's Office, where they were formally placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Prosecutor for the preparation of the corresponding investigation files.
