Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Mexico on Wed 3rd December 2025

Members of the National Guard and the Mexican Army arrested Roberto “N”, alias El 02, identified as a priority target, during an operation carried out in Aldama, Chihuahua, after an armed attack by members of a criminal group, which concluded with the arrest of 10 other people, reported the Ministry of National Defense (Defensa). In conjunction with the Security Cabinet, it was detailed that the confrontation and capture involved elements from the commands of the 11th Military Region and the Fifth Military Zone, who were carrying out land patrols and were attacked with gunfire, repelled the attack and controlled the situation, in the town of El Pueblito. Roberto “N”, alias “El 02”, and the other 10 detainees are linked to a criminal group operating in the region; they were found in possession of 11 long guns, two machine guns, two Barrett rifles , three vehicles, various explosive devices, and a drone.
