28th November 2025
In the evening, Russian Kinzhal missiles struck Starokostyantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region, the Ukrainian Air Forces confirmed. Prior to this, a missile danger warning was issued across Ukraine due to the takeoff of the MiG-31K.
The Air Forces reported at least two missiles that attacked Starokostyantyniv or Starkon, as it is often called. According to the Telegram channel “Vanyok”, these could have been at least three ballistic missiles of the Kinzhal type.
A post appeared on the Starokostyantyniv 24/7 Telegram channel: “You’ve heard it all yourselves” – residents reacted to the information about the missile threat.
In October 2025, due to numerous shellings, Starokostyantyniv received the title of Hero City.
On the night of November 25, Russia launched another massive strike against Ukraine; Kyiv was the main target – seven people were killed. On the night of November 19, Russia struck primarily cities in western regions with missiles and drones. In Ternopil, 35 people were killed as a result of the shelling, including children. Starokostyantyniv continues to remain a key defense object of the country, where the Russian army uses various means of destruction – from attack drones to missiles.
