A civilian woman from Rathedaung Township in Rakhine State was reportedly injured after being struck by artillery shells fired by the Myanmar junta army based in Sittwe, the capital of Arakan State.

On November 26, a battalion from the army based in Sittwe fired at least 20 artillery shells towards Moe Se Island. One of these shells detonated in a field located in Nyaung Pinle Village, as reported by a source close to the AA.
