Venezuela Downs Unauthorized Aircraft Over Apure State Venezuelan forces intercepted and neutralized a single-engine Cessna 210 aircraft that breached national airspace without clearance, flight plan, or active transponder—and ignored all radio hails. Spotted by the Integral Aerospace Defense System, the intruder was engaged by Bolivarian Military Aviation jets at coordinates 06°37’35”N / 067°45’19”W—roughly 77 nautical miles from San Fernando de Apure. This marks the 24th such incident neutralized by the FANB in 2025, bringing the total to 415 since airspace control laws took effect.
