In the context of the ongoing pursuit of wanted individuals, those who disrupt security, and drug dealers, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, carried out extensive raids in the Sharawneh neighborhood of Baalbek, and arrested the citizens (N.J.) and (A.J.) and the Syrians (A.S.), (B.M.) and (A.K.), for firing on army patrols on previous dates, and for trafficking in drugs and military weapons, and seized a quantity of drugs and military weapons.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation with the detainees began under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
