SAA event in Lebanon on Tue 25th November 2025

The army continues to pursue gunmen, drug traffickers, and security disruptors, and in this context, an army unit in the Al-Sharawna area – Baalbek detained the citizen (A.J.) wanted for firing shots and drug trafficking, and seized in his possession a large quantity of drugs in addition to military ammunition. An army unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, also detained the citizens (SH.A.), (A.A.), and (H.A.) in the town of Al-Zrariya - Tyre for their involvement in an incident involving gunfire in the aforementioned town. A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence likewise detained the citizen (A.F.) in the town of Arsal - Baalbek for possessing a large quantity of shells, weapons, and military ammunition. The seized items were handed over, and investigations have commenced with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
