A man aged in his 20s has died after being shot multiple times near a police station in Western Sydney.NSW Police said about 12:25pm on Friday emergency services treated a man on Carinya Street in Blacktown for gunshot wounds to his neck, chest and leg.He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but he could not be saved.Superintendent Brendan Gorman said police stopped a black Mazda ute seen leaving the scene after a short pursuit of "about five minutes".Two men, one aged in his early 20s and another in his late teens, were arrested on the adjoining Kildare Road and taken to Blacktown Police Station."At this stage we don't believe there is anyone else we're looking for," Superintendent Gorman said. The victim and the two people arrested are known to police.Superintendent Gorman said "no other parties involved outside those involved" were injured during the incident. He said a car found flipped on its own roof in the area was a "secondary vehicle" and not the ute involved in the police pursuit.A crime scene has been established in the area.Vision from the scene shows several police cars on the scene with a section of road being cordoned off by officers. "There is a large emergency services presence in the area, with police establishing a perimeter," a NSW Police statement said."There is no threat to the public however, the community is urged to avoid the area."Police have urged people to "find another way around around Blacktown CBD", as some areas have been cordoned off."It's a complex investigation with a number of crime scenes, so it could be shut down for a number of hours," Superintendent Gorman said.
