The tranquility of Loreto, a picturesque tourist town and municipality in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico, was abruptly interrupted by acts of violence directed against two families. On Wednesday, November 19, around 7:00 in the morning, two almost simultaneous armed attacks were reported in the Invi Miramar neighborhood. The Secretary General of the Government, Saúl González Núñez, confirmed the seriousness of the facts: "We had two events in Loreto today, at 7:00 in the morning, where, apparently, approximately six people were executed. We are already working; the Secretary of Public Security is moving there to attend to these events immediately." This deployment underlines the priority of the authorities to clarify the case.
