Some type of shot was fired at the window of a residential building where people were, and at a car window. A man has now been arrested.

The suspected shooting is believed to have taken place on Wednesday night. There were people in the house, which is located in a village in Gällivare municipality, but no one was injured.

The police are investigating the incident and, among other things, blocked off the scene for technical examination.

Late Wednesday afternoon, police also picked up a man who had been arrested in his absence. He is suspected of making a grave unlawful threat and causing danger to another, police spokesperson Åsa Mjörndal confirms.
