On 24 May 2019, a Saudi-led coalition airstrike reportedly targeted Wuqud gas station, located around 1.5 km west of Al-Junayd area, at the border between Mawiyah (Taizz) and Al-Husha (Ad Dali) districts. The facility was destroyed, and 12 civilians killed and others injured. A Houthi checkpoint was reported near the station (Habil Adh Dhurriyah) but was left untouched by the strike
