On 20 November 2025, in Seik Mu village (Hpakant township, Mohnyin district, Kachin state), the Myanmar military troops stationed at the Hpakant tactical outpost hill and the Rakhine outpost hill in the Ma Shi Ka Htaung ward fired heavy weapons indiscriminately ten times around 11:21 pm and 11:47 pm, without an armed clash occurring, which fell and exploded in the No.1 ward, No.3 ward and San Thida hill. A 2-year-old girl was killed and five civilians including a 62-year-old woman, a 45-year-old woman, a 35-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were injured. They were sent to Hpakant hospital to receive treatment. Some houses and cars were also damaged.
