In Paukkhaung Township, a military convoy of five motorcycles attempting to leave a location was ambushed by a mine attack, resulting in three soldiers killed. Two motorcycles and weapons were seized by resistance forces.
Yangon, November 17 — According to Shadow, a reconnaissance officer from Battalion 3601, on November 7 around 6 p.m., soldiers withdrawing from the Tatkon military base in Teipin Village on five motorcycles towards Takaok, Bawdi Kone, and Taik Chaung villages were ambushed between Tanye Pin and Taik Chaung by resistance forces with mine attacks and small arms fire.
During the attack, three soldiers from the military were killed, two wounded, and a rifle, some ammunition, and two motorcycles were seized.
“The ambush was carried out by our forces between Tanye Pin and Taik Chaung to target the group of 9 soldiers leaving the Tatkon base on five motorcycles. Three soldiers died, two were wounded. We also seized two motorcycles and some weapons,” said reconnaissance officer Shadow from Battalion 3601.
