In Naypyidaw Tatkon and Sagaing Township, attacks on military columns and troop vehicles resulted in 12 soldiers killed and one vehicle set on fire.

According to the People’s Defense Group in Myothit Township, on November 5 around 7:40 a.m., resistance forces ambushed a military column of about 40 soldiers withdrawing towards Milepost 241 on the Naypyidaw Tatkon Highway near Yatanar Myay Village. The mine attack killed 5 soldiers and wounded 7. The bodies and wounded were carried away by two ox carts. The resistance forces withdrew without casualties.
