A man was injured when he was attacked with machetes on the streets of the Industrial neighborhood. The events occurred at the intersection of Bernardo Reyes and Francisco Javier Echeverría Avenues. It was established that the victim was surprised by a guy who attacked him with a machete allegedly to strip him of his belongings. During the events, the affected person suffered a wound on his arm and a blow to the head. Following the events, neighbors of that sector requested support from the emergency number. A unit of the royal police arrived at the site and helped the victim while the rescue teams arrived. Red Cross paramedics treated the injured man and transferred him to the hospital. It is unknown whether the arrest of the person or those responsible for the aggression was achieved.
