RPG event in Punna Kye area, Myanmar on Sun 23rd November 2025

In Wetlet, a fierce battle resulted in the resistance seizing many weapons from the military.

People’s Servant Revolution – Wetlet reported today that the military had set fire to Punna Kye village in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, prompting resistance forces to counterattack.

On November 23, a military column of 120 personnel from Saingnakwe launched the attack and torched Punna Kye village.

The military suffered 35 deaths and many injured, according to a joint statement from three military units.

A commander from No. 1 Shwebo District confirmed that all the bodies of the deaths stated were recovered.

After the battle, various types of weapons, including guns, grenades, bullets, phones, and four grenade launchers, were seized, according to People’s Servant Revolution – Wetlet.

The attack was organized under the command of No. 2 Shwebo District, with the involvement of multiple military units (No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 17), Wetlet Township PDF, Hanlin Township PDF, No. 2 Shwebo District Drone Unit, multiple Drone Units (No. 1-5 and 17), Zamani Drone Unit, and Wetlet Township PDF Drone Unit, as well as local PDFs coordinating together.
