SAA event in Mexico on Sat 1st November 2025

Two members of the State Public Security Forces (FSPE), a man and a woman, were injured after being targeted by an armed attack in the community of El Nacimiento, Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato.

Both officers were rushed to a hospital, where they are reported out of danger, the incident occurred around 09:00 on Friday, October 31.

The agents were circulating through the main entrance of the community when they were surprised by heavily armed subjects, who opened fire directly on the patrol.

One of the agents, who was traveling in the back, was injured in that area, while the other officer, who was in front, suffered an injury near the head, after the attack, the aggressors fled and abandoned one of the vans a few meters away, in the community of Amexe.

The aggression motivated an immediate request for support that activated the response protocol, minutes later, reinforcement units and emergency personnel arrived at the site to transfer the officers to a hospital center to receive specialized care.

After the incident, a large-scale security operation was deployed in the area, coordinated between state and municipal elements, with the aim of locating those responsible.

Criminal Investigation Agents (AIC) and specialized experts from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) went to the place to carry out the corresponding procedures, collect ballistic evidence and other evidence to clarify the facts.
