Army troops neutralize Boko Haram terrorists, destroy hideouts in Bula
Daloye, recover riffles

By: Zagazola Makama

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have successfully conducted
offensive operations against suspected terrorist hideouts in the Bula
Daloye cluster, Borno State, recovering arms and explosives, killing
unspecified numbers of terrorists.

Zagazola gathered that the operation was carried out at about 1700 hours
on 18 November 2025 by personnel of 21 Special Armoured Battalion in
conjunction with volunteer forces. The troops arrived at the initial
objective, but suspected terrorists reportedly fled upon sighting the
forces.

The troops subsequently advanced to a second location within the
cluster, scanning a three-kilometre radius, where they observed
extensive terrorist activity across multiple sites. The troops engaged
the terrorists in a fire fight and neutralized some of them while others
 fled.
The troops further destroyed all identified structures used by the
terrorists.

During the operation, one military vehicle reportedly triggered an
improvised explosive device (IED), resulting in injuries to two hybrid
force personnel. They were stabilised on-site by medical staff. There
were no fatalities reported among the troops.

The operation led to the recovery of five AK-47 rifles, six magazines,
67 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition, two motorcycles, one Dane gun, and
one bicycle. Additionally, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team
discovered and detonated four IEDs.
