At around 10 a.m. on November 12, Win Naing, a military informant from Hteit Pauk village in the Singwe village tract of Yedashe Township, stepped on a landmine that the military had previously placed near the village.

As a result of the explosion, Win Naing suffered severe injuries and lost his leg. He is now receiving treatment at the Taungoo District Nisong Pyaing Clinic.
