On November 15, at least seven operatives of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed when they attempted to attack a police station in Hawaid in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khorasan Diary on X. Following an exchange of fire, local residents confronted the attackers, who fled toward the Lakki Marwat District where villagers in Takhtikhel surrounded them inside a seminary. According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Bannu, when police arrived a heavy gun battle broke out and seven of the 17 terrorists were found dead, five inside the seminary and two in the surrounding area.
