On November 13, upazila-level (Sub--District) leader of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, Abdul Mannan, was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Rangunia Sub-District of Chittagong District, reports The Daily Star. Balayat Hossain, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Rangunia Circle, told that Mannan had recently returned to Bangladesh after working in Saudi Arabia, following the fall of the Awami League government.
