On June 25 2019, 3 soldiers and 4 Taliban militants were killed, and 2 were wounded, in the Shawza wa Abkhorma village of Bala Buluk district, Farah. 3 soldiers were killed and 2 were wounded when their Humvee was hit by a roadside bomb in the village. Afghan forces bombed the area and killed 4 militants according to officials.
