On 4 July 2019, regime and Russian warplanes carried out air raids on the town of Kafr Nobol and its vicinity, impacting a surgical hospital in a fortified basement under the ground in north of Kafr Nobol city, severely damaging its equipment and furniture, while regime ground forces fired rockets and artillery and regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs which killed a civilian.
