On 12 July, 2019, regime warplanes carried out airstrikes on Jisr-Ash-Shugur and its outskirts in western Idleb countryside, impacting the surgical hospital, known previously as Al Kalawi Hospital, which is supported by Syrian Expatriate Medical Association (SEMA), partially damaging its building, and its equipment. Neither fatalities nor injuries were reported.
