Missile event in Rural Damascus, An Nabk area, Syrian Arab Republic on Mon 22nd July 2019

On 22 July 2019, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Qara mountains in Rural Damascus amid Israeli missile attacks fired from warships in the Mediterranean. Airstrikes resulted in explosion of Hezbollah ammunition warehouses and the outbreak of fires. Strikes on Kisweh area, Regiment 91, Scientific research centre in Jamraya, Qara and Felita mountains, Umm Haraytan, and the military airbase in the southern countryside of Homs resulted in the killing of 9 fighters, one of which is Syrian, and the wounding of several others. 9 fatalities split between 7 locations as follows: 2 Kisweh area, 2 Regiment 91, and 1 each for the Scientific research centre in Jamraya, Qara and Felita mountains, Umm Haraytan, and the military airbase in the southern countryside of Homs.
