On 22 July 2019, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on regime 1st armored division in Kisweh area amid Israeli missile attacks fired from warships in the Mediterranean. Strikes on Kisweh area, Regiment 91, Scientific research centre in Jamraya, Qara and Felita mountains, Umm Haraytan, and a military airbase in the southern countryside of Homs resulted in the killing of 9 fighters, one of which is Syrian, and the wounding of several others. 9 fatalities split between 7 locations as follows: 2 Kisweh area, 2 Regiment 91, and 1 each for the Scientific research centre in Jamraya, Qara and Felita mountains, Umm Haraytan, and the military airbase in the southern countryside of Homs.
