On 22 July 2019, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah in scientific research centre in Umm Haratayn in Homs. Strikes on Kisweh area, Regiment 91, Scientific research centre in Jamraya, Qara and Felita mountains, Umm Haraytan, and the military airbase in the southern countryside of Homs resulted in the killing of 9 fighters, one of which is Syrian, and the wounding of several others. 9 fatalities split between 7 locations as follows: 2 Kisweh area, 2 Regiment 91, and 1 each for the Scientific research centre in Jamraya, Qara and Felita mountains, Umm Haraytan, and the military airbase in the southern countryside of Homs.
