On 22 January 2021, pro-Hadi forces (30th Artillery Brigade and Southern Resistance forces) shelled Houthi positions in Habil al Ubaydi (Qaatabah, Ad Dali), Battar (Al Husha, Ad Dali), and Al Fakhir (Qaatabah, Ad Dali), resulting in Houthi fatalities and injuries.
