On 17 April 2021, in Dagon Township (Yangon-west District, Yangon Region), an explosion occurred near the gate of a military parade ground used for Armed Forces Day along U Wisara Road. Witnesses reported that they saw smoke and heard a loud blast. No casualties reported.
