On 21 April 2021, in Thingangyun township (Yangon (east) district, Yangon region), two people threw three homemade bombs in front of the home of a member of the State Administration Council (also the office of the New National Democracy Party). It was reported that only one bomb made of PVC exploded. No damage reported.
