On 15 April 2021, Ashab al Kahf militants detonated a roadside explosive device targeting a convoy carrying logistical materials for the US belonging to a contractor (Iraqi company and drivers) for the Global Coalition Against Daesh on the highway west of Ramadi city in Anbar province. The reporting does not include a damage assessment of the attack.
