On 14 April 2021, in Momauk township (Bhamo District, Kachin State), landmine explosions killed more than 30 Myanmar military soldiers, and two KIA soldiers. Fatalities coded as 32 (30 Myanmar military soldiers and 2 KIA soldiers). This could have happened during a clash between the two groups, but no clash was reported.
