On 10 April 2021, an IED by unknown group detonated, targeting a vehicle driven by a police officer at Biya-Dega neighborhood in Mogadishu - Heliwa district (Heliwa, Banadir). Two civilian bystanders were killed in the blast and the driver of the car sustained injuries.
