On 3 April 2021, an Al Shabaab suicide bomber targeted civilians in a coffee restaurant at Sadexda Geed village neighborhood in Mogadishu - Shangaani district (Shangaani, Banadir). At least seven people, including five boys, were killed while five others were wounded after the suicide bomber blew himself up inside the restaurant.
