On 3 April 2021, an Azerbaijani serviceman was hit by a landmine near the Sugovushan (Mataghis) village in the Tartar (Martakert) region while searching for missing servicemen in the Artsakh War. The serviceman died on April 16. It is not known who planted the mine.
