On 8 April 2021, an IED, planted by an unidentified armed group, targeted a Turkish military convoy as it was travelling on the road between Bara and Ehsem in the countryside of Idleb. The convoy was reportedly bringing military reinforcements to Turkish positions in Idleb. Neither injuries nor fatalities were reported.
