On 8 April 2021, near Man Aung village, Chaung Hpyar area, in Ye township (Mawlamyine District, Mon State), the Myanmar military fired about 7 rounds of artillery shells around the KNU brigade-6 area. Two shells fell in a village, and a house was damaged. Casualties not reported.
